About the station:

Founded in 2021, KLT Metal Radio is an independent radio internet station owned and operated by KLT Media Group. Our broadcasts are catered towards listeners in the South Florida region, but our listenership is spread all around the world.

As the name implies, we mainly play hard rock and metal music, but you will frequently hear other gernes such as prog rock and grunge, featuring legendary bands like Porcupine Tree, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Haken, Dream Theater, Tool, and more.

Despite being an online radio station, we operate almost identically to officially FCC-licensed stations. This station is also equipped with fully FCC 47 CFR Part 11-compliant Emergency Alert System equipment. Additionally, KLT-FM is participant of the Global Weather and EAS Society’s EAS Relay Network.

KLT Metal Radio uses a Telos Alliance Omnia 9 audio processor to achieve our signature sound and to provide listeners with the best possible listening experience.
